- DST Output debuted in the Canadian market in 1996 when we acquired Xebec - a company whose roots could be traced back to the mid-1970s as the micrographics division of Datacrown, a Toronto-based processing service bureau
- For more than six years following the acquisition, DST Output operated in Canada under the Xebec brand. On June 27, 2003, Xebec began operating as DST Output.
